Yes, the Silver Server can operate using batteries it requires 4 x AA cells

The Silver Server will operate for approx XXhours using batteries, for continuous use, we suggest using the included mains power supply.

No, the Silver Server works with DAB and FM frequencies, it can also play audiobook files stored on a USB stick.

You can store 3 DAB stations and 3 FM stations.

Yes, the Silver Server has two alarm functions. These can be programmed to function once only (at a specific date and time), each day at a specific time or only at weekends or on weekdays at a defined time.
You can select for the alarm to sound the internal buzzer, DAB or FM radio.

Each recorded voice prompt has a maximum duration of ten seconds.

You can store up to four individual voice memos.

You can pre-program voice memo’s to play at a particular time of the day. These can be programmed to function once only (at a specific date and time), each day at a specific time or only at weekends or on weekdays at a defined time. The voice memos can also be played on demand by pressing any of the voice memo buttons. This will play that particular voice memo once each time the button is pressed.

No, the voice memo can only be changed by re-recording the new message directly into the Silver Server radio by using the record function.

If the low-temperature alert function is operational, then yes every time the temperature drops below the predefined temperature the voice prompt will sound.

Yes, the music is muted when the low-temperature alert is operational, the blue LED’s on the top panel will also flash, also the display will show a low-temperature message. Pressing any button will resume the radio to normal operation.
